Alto premium aftercare
Hearing aid aftercare
All of our hearing aid packages offer five years’ premium aftercare, meaning that your audiologist will offer regular aftercare appointments to service your hearing aids and ensure that you are adapting to and continuing to get the maximum benefit from them.
To ensure that your hearing aids are programmed according to up-to-date hearing test results, we will re-test your hearing at regular intervals, always using real ear measurements (REMs) to validate the programming of your hearing aids.
As part of every aftercare appointment, your audiologist will also fully clean and service your hearing aids, and will also be able to guide you on the regular hearing aid maintenance you can do yourself at home.
Servicing & repairs
Should your hearing aids need to be repaired, we can often do this in house. Occasionally, we may need to send your hearing aid away to the manufacturer. If the work required is out of the scope of the manufacturer warranty, we will always quote for the work required and obtain your agreement before proceeding.
Plus, if your hearing aid is being sent away for repair, we will always try to provide a replacement solution to keep you hearing whilst it is away.
