All of our hearing aid treatment plans allow you to choose from any of the latest hearing aid styles, including our invisible hearing aids.
Receiver in the canal/ear (RIC or RIE)
One of the most popular styles due to their sleek design and versatility. By helping to keep the ear canal open, receiver in the canal hearing aids (RIC) have a very natural sound.
Receiver in the canal hearing aids have a speaker that sits inside the ear canal and is connected via a very thin wire to a small hearing aid unit that sits behind the ear. RIC hearing aids are suitable for most hearing losses.
Invisible in the canal hearing aids are the most discreet hearing aid option available.
These devices are tiny and sit right inside the ear canal. They feature with a small wire that allows you to extract the device from your ear.
Due to their smaller size, invisible in the canal devices are suitable for mild to moderate hearing losses and generally do not offer wireless connectivity.
Sitting inside the ear canal, these hearing aids are custom made to the shape of your ear and house all of the components, so that nothing is visible behind the ear.
In the ear hearing aids are suitable for most hearing losses.

Wonderful wonderful experience from reception to the woman ( forgive me I forgot her name ) she took care of me very well. I’m very happy with the results 110%, I have my hearing back after months of uncomfortable silence and pain. I cannot recommend them enough. 5 star and very affordable and quick service. Alto hearing helped me get my deceased father in law's Phonak hearing aids mended and able for me to use. The quality of service I received was excellent. Boots who had sold my father in law the hearing aids, refused to help me and I would not recommend them to anyone. Alto on the other hand were excellent.

I booked the appointment online and very quickly received a call back. We were then able to go through the reasons for me needing a hearing test and the appointment was confirmed. I received a very warm welcome with the offer of a hot drink on a very cold day as soon as I walked through the door. Leesa, the audiologist, was very professional and friendly and explained the procedure in detail so I understood exactly what tests would be carried out, and why. The whole process was completely stress free and I would highly recommend Alto Hearing.

Visited Alto Hearing in Clitheroe for the first time today. Met by a very friendly and professional lady on reception who put me at ease immediately. Very relaxing waiting room and treatment rooms ,spotlessly clean. Wireless Bluetooth technology allows you to change your hearing aid settings via a remote control or app on your smartphone. You may also be able to connect your hearing aid to your phone, TV, assistive listening devices, or other hearing aid accessories, such as remote microphones, for ease of listening.
