Hearing aids, fitting and long-term care in one plan
Before a plan is recommended, we start with a Complete Hearing Assessment to understand your hearing, your lifestyle and the situations you most want to improve. Your audiologist then helps choose the right technology, fit it carefully, fine-tune it properly and support you over time.
Every plan includes hearing aids, a personal hearing aid fitting appointment, aftercare and ongoing support. Where appropriate, Real Ear Measurements help check what your hearing aids are doing in your ears, so they can be fine-tuned more accurately.
When hearing aids are recommended, fitting can often be arranged within days.
Your audiologist will talk you through the suitable plan options and the full cost before you go ahead.
Aftercare and support
Aftercare is part of the plan
Clarity+ and Signature include five years’ hearing aid aftercare. Pro includes aftercare for the lifespan of the devices. Your audiologist will offer regular appointments to service your hearing aids and keep them working as they should.
Should your hearing aids need to be repaired, we can often do this in-house. If they need to go back to the manufacturer, we will try to provide a loan or replacement option where possible.

Your audiologist will consider your hearing test results, speech-in-noise ability, listening lifestyle, ear shape, dexterity, phone and TV needs, budget and the level of support you are likely to need.
If a lower-cost plan is suitable, we will say so. If a higher plan would not add meaningful benefit for you, we will say that too.

Most clients pay the plan price shown. Monaural fittings are 75% of binaural prices because the fitting, verification, aftercare and support pathway are still included. The £75 Complete Hearing Assessment is separate. Accessories, spare domes, filters, batteries and specialist hearing aid options may change the final quote.

After your Complete Hearing Assessment, your audiologist will explain the most suitable plan options, why they fit, and what each would cost. If hearing aids are right for you and you want to go ahead, fitting can often be arranged within days.
The recommendation should feel clear and practical. If a lower-cost option is suitable, we will say so. If a higher plan would not add useful benefit, we will say that too.

Are Alto hearing aid prices for one hearing aid or two?
You can view either. Binaural pricing is for two hearing aids. Monaural pricing is for one hearing aid and is 75% of the binaural plan price.
What is included in the treatment plan price?
Each plan includes hearing aids, fitting, verification where appropriate, fine-tuning, warranty, aftercare and support. The level of technology, care and included extras depends on the plan.
Is the Complete Hearing Assessment included?
No. The Complete Hearing Assessment is £75 and is paid separately. The assessment comes first so we can understand your hearing properly before recommending a plan.
Are there any extra costs?
Most clients pay the plan price shown. Optional accessories, spare domes, spare filters, batteries and a small number of specialist hearing aid choices may change the final quote. You will always see the full cost before you go ahead.
Why is AltoSelect shown separately?
AltoSelect is a lower-cost option for simpler everyday listening needs. It can be suitable when listening demands are straightforward, but it uses more focused technology and a shorter support package than the main plans.
How quickly can hearing aids be fitted?
If hearing aids are suitable and you choose to go ahead, fitting can often be arranged within days. Your audiologist will explain the recommendation, full cost and next steps clearly at your assessment.
Why does Alto use treatment plans rather than device-only pricing?
A hearing aid is only as good as the way it is selected, fitted, verified, adjusted and supported. Alto treatment plans include the hearing aids and the care needed to make them work properly for you.

This place is absolutely brilliant. I knew one of my ears was blocked with wax but didn't realise just how bad until the camera went in and i could see it on the screen. I saw Andrew who was great and explained the procedure and after a quick microsuction i was amazed at just how much came out and how instantly my ears felt clear and hearing back to normal. The Lady on reception was also very welcoming. Would definatley recommend and use again.

A very warm and friendly welcome. From the minute I walked in I felt comfortable and at ease. Both my ears were blocked with wax. The wax removel procedure was painless and I got to watch it all on a screen which was very interesting. Afterwards I had a free hearing test and everything was explained in detail. I had a problem with my right ear, not all the time but from time to time. I had an appointment with Carl, who was very professional and made me feel at ease. I had a thorough ear test in both ears and was shown the graph of my hearing. I was very impressed with the test and advised l would benefit from a hearing devise. I had severe ear problems of which I now know to be ear wax. I rang for an appointment in the morning and got one for the afternoon. I visited Carl fir the first time yesterday, with tinnitus and some deafness in my right ear. After a full examination he advised me to see my Dr. as he thought it was an inner ear infection.
